Application Instructions
Preparation of Bonding Surfaces
- Ensure the substrate material is as dry as possible.
- Remove dust, debris, and other contaminants from the surface using a brush or cloth.
Mixing Procedure
- Mix Part A and Part B strictly at a 1:1 ratio by weight, stirring thoroughly and evenly.
- The mixing ratio must be precise, and the mixture must be homogeneous. Do not interchange tools for Parts A and B, and never return any mixed adhesive to the original containers.
- Prepare only the amount of adhesive that can be used within the pot life. Discard immediately if the mixture heats up, indicating it has exceeded its working life. At 25-30°C, 500g of mixed adhesive must be used within 20 minutes. The pot life decreases with higher temperature and larger mixing volumes. If a large quantity is mixed, divide it into smaller portions immediately.
- Do not interchange the caps of Part A and Part B. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use to prevent moisture absorption and contamination.
- It is recommended to use flat utensils for mixing. To extend pot life, especially at high ambient temperatures, the mixture may be cooled during application.
Application
- Apply the adhesive evenly to both bonding surfaces. Coat thinly and completely, avoiding any missed areas.
Curing Process
- Cure at room temperature. Typically, the adhesive reaches 80% of its final strength after 24 hours, allowing for further processing.
- At 25°C, the initial cure occurs in 4-6 hours, and the assembly can be handled after 24 hours.
- Keep the assembly stationary during the full curing period. Do not move or disturb the parts.
Cleanup
- Clean tools immediately with a dedicated cleaner before the adhesive cures.
Safety Precautions
This adhesive is slightly alkaline and may cause skin irritation or allergic reactions in some individuals. It complies with the national mandatory standard GB18583-2008, making it an environmentally friendly product with no other known health hazards when used as directed. We recommend the following precautions:
- Use in a well-ventilated area.
- Wear appropriate protective clothing, gloves, and a face mask.
- Avoid direct skin contact. If contact occurs, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
- Employees with known allergic reactions should be reassigned to other tasks.
Troubleshooting & Important Notes
Several factors can lead to unsatisfactory bonding results. Please pay close attention to the following:
- The bonding surface is insufficiently dry, or the air humidity is too high, resulting in high moisture content.
- The adhesive was not mixed thoroughly, leaving "dead zones".
- Contamination from tools previously used for the other component, causing premature curing.
- The adhesive coating is incomplete, with areas of insufficient or missing adhesive.
- Using adhesive that has exceeded its pot life, showing a significant increase in viscosity.
Due to variations in materials, mixing techniques, and application methods, it is impossible to list all potential factors. Always perform a pre-test before full-scale use to ensure compatibility and desired results.
Storage, Transportation & Packaging
- Storage: Keep sealed in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse at 5-40°C. The product has a shelf life of 1 year from the date of manufacture. It may be used beyond this period only after passing re-inspection.
- Transportation: Classified as a mild corrosive substance. Keep away from heat sources and open flames, and protect from direct sunlight and rain. Handle with care; do not roll, drop, stack under heavy loads, invert, or place on its side. Maintain a temperature range of 5-40°C during transport.
- Packaging: Available in specifications according to customer requirements.
Important Notice
- The physical and chemical properties of the substrate material will affect the bonding performance. Poor results may occur with materials that are high in moisture, highly absorbent, very smooth, or dusty.
- Incorrect mixing ratio, poor homogeneity, or improper application will degrade the adhesive layer strength.
- Uneven application or insufficient adhesive will compromise the final bond quality.
- In case of skin contact with uncured adhesive, wipe with a cloth dampened with alcohol, then wash with soap and water. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting; drink large quantities of egg white or milk and seek immediate medical help.
- Always conduct a trial before large-scale use to confirm suitability, as variations in substrate materials can affect results.
- We guarantee that our products are manufactured in strict accordance with national and enterprise standards. Our liability is limited solely to the product itself.
- We offer custom product development to meet specific customer requirements and solve unique bonding challenges, with consultation from renowned domestic and international experts.
- Products are available in high, medium, and low grades to meet different customer needs.
- Formulations may be adjusted based on seasonal temperature changes. Please consult our sales team before purchasing to ensure optimal performance.
- At low winter temperatures, the product's viscosity may increase slightly. Warming the adhesive before use will restore its properties without affecting performance.
