Scope of Application

Oil Pan Gasket Maker is ideal for sealing a wide range of components, including:

  • Automotive engines
  • Motor gearboxes
  • Front and rear housings
  • Water pumps
  • Plain flanges
  • Machinery cover plates

Using Method

  1. Clean the surface thoroughly with a cotton cloth to ensure it is free of dust, grease, rust, and other contaminants.
  2. For a neat finish, apply temporary masking tape around the area to be sealed after cleaning. Remove the tape after applying the sealant.
  3. Pierce the seal of the tube with the cap, then cut the nozzle at an angle.
  4. Apply the glue evenly and continuously to the area requiring sealing or bonding. Maintain a consistent cylindrical bead of sealant while moving the nozzle slowly and steadily to avoid trapping air or creating holes.
  5. The glue will begin to set in approximately 10 minutes. Assemble parts while maintaining proper gasket thickness. Full curing occurs after 24 hours at room temperature.

Warning

  • 1 During the curing process, this product releases a small amount of acetic acid. Ensure the work area is well-ventilated at all times.
  • 2 Keep out of reach of children. While non-toxic once fully cured, avoid contact with eyes before curing. If eye contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention if irritation persists.
  • 3 During application, hold the tube steadily and dispense continuously to prevent air from mixing into the sealant, which can cause bubbles and compromise the seal.
  • 4 After use, replace the cap immediately and seal the container tightly to prevent moisture ingress and premature curing. Always wipe away any residual sealant from the nozzle.
  • 5 For optimal results, use this product within a temperature range of 5 °C to 40 °C and a relative humidity of 40% to 80%.
